Winning at Book Club

I like to read, and I like to talk about what I read, but mostly the phrases I use are something like these:

- I liked this book
- I liked this character
- The book was boring in the middle
- I thought the story would have been better if the book had been 100 pages shorter


But last night at book club, I actually used the words "Archetype" and "Narrative".  Too bad I wasn't talking about the book.
